TRIPLE J UNEARTHED HIGH

Triple J's annual search for a highschool talent is returning this year, which means that every teen garage band in Australia that can scrounge up the money to get into a studio can enter. When it comes around later in the year, be sure to hit up Triple J Unearthed to vote for the best acts, and propell some 4 piece garage band to semi-stardom. As I mentioned in the first Podcast, BREACH were placed third in last years competition, and recently I talked with Alex Christophel, the drummer from the band, to discuss this years competition. He stated that the band has been writing new songs but they "sound way too much like U2". Nevertheless, it will be up to us to see if that's true when they release their new tracks with the full band for this years competition. During this years competition we will be right here to cover it, and give you guys the leading bands so that you can vote. On that note, when BREACH debut their new tracks, they will also be featured in a podcast- so stay tuned.
