BAND OF THE WEEK
PIECE OF ACE ( SOUTH AUSTRALIA)
This week's band of the week, Piece of Ace, are a local, all girl. four piece punk/indie band from Adelaide and they are the very first band to be featured as band of the week. So basically, this band of the week thing is to show you guys some bands you may not have heard of, and promote them. So without further ado, let's get into the nitty gritty.
THE BAND
Ira- Vocals
Bayley-Lead Guitar
Camilla-Bass
Caitlin- Drums
THEIR SOUND
Piece of Ace( formerly known as Bird is the Word, and before that Deer Boy, Fight Her) have a very punky, catchy sound. Their songs are really riff driven and hooky- though not predictable. After listening to their songs a few times, they kind of get stuck in your head. The light punk style is refreshing and easy to listen to- it's not something you'd head bang to but that's okay. It's their listener freindly style that draws you in and keeps you there.
